Raval Time Zones – Encounters
It’s a screening program around immigrant run shops within El Raval neighbourhood of Barcelona. the curatorial framework of this project is formed based on the idea that migrant population often live between two different time zones: one from where they belong to and the other the one they have migrated to. metaphorically, each shop becomes a site of elsewhere that belongs to a different time zone than the one we are physically standing inside them. thus, the videos will function as a link between here and there, making time an inapplicable matter when we embrace the differences. curated in partnership with artist Arash Fayed
